This interactive, fast-paced workshop addresses personal safety and stalking issues as they impact the high-profile professional. PublicEye Workshops explore: - The definition of stalking.
- Types of stalkers and common stalking behavior.
- How to respond to being stalked.
- Self-protection in stalking situations both at home and at work.
- Available resources.
- Effective tools to employ in a self-defense situation including awareness, voice and “common motion” physical defense techniques.
- Common sense prevention skills and some solutions to hazardous situations.
DART Spectrum Level 1 (4 Hours) This workshop is DART’s flagship offering, a thorough lesson in conflict resolution. This powerful course includes: - Workplace Safety Awareness
- Exploration of Body language and Pre-violent Behaviors
- DART’s Crisis Response Model
- Theory and Training in Verbal De-escalation Techniques
- Basic Self Defense Skills
- Role Playing of Situations from Verbal to Physical
DART Spectrum Level 2 (4 Hours) This semi-customized workshop was designed for those who have completed the introductory Spectrum Level 1 and desire more intensive instruction. The client may choose two of the following modules for concentrated study: - Awareness Skills
- Movement, Blocking, Redirection and Escapes from holds
- Restraint Holds
- Crisis Response Model/De-escalation
DART Spectrum Level 3 (7-8 Hours) This comprehensive training begins with the entire content of the Spectrum Level 1 course, with the addition of the following: - Team Intervention
- Restraint Holds - Mechanical Advantage techniques are taught
- Phases of Conflict Resolution
- Realistic Role Playing Scenarios of Team Intervention and Restraint Techniques
Verbal De-escalation Workshop (2-3 hours) Participants learn a deeper awareness of their work environment by developing observation skills, learning to read body language and vocal cues, and breathing control. Included in this course are the following: - Thorough Discussion of Warning Signs and Pre-violent Behaviors

Control Techniques Workshop (6 Hours) This course is designed for those charged with controlling the physically abusive. Spectrum Level 1 is recommended as a prerequisite. The following is included: - Three Mechanical Advantage Takedowns and Four Restraint Holds
